One year has passed since the introduction of the optical measuring system in the Stamping department, and our technicians have succesfully completed the creation and development of the measuring programs, initially made for the highest rotation items.
The new measuring system is located in the centre of the Stamping department and is directly accessible by the operators, which autonomously carry out the measurements provided in the Control Plan.
Applying this system to all the articles produced by SIVA allows a greater guarantee of the quality of the stamped parts, because the measured values (with an accuracy of 5 µm) are independent of the operator, and because for the same time it is possible to check a greater number of dimensions.
